Roughly two weeks ago I thought we had seen it all: The single greatest 8 a.m on a bus to Jersey city performance we’d ever see. Surely, our friend couldn’t top himself - he had conctoted a little brew called ‘The Perfect Performance’ 3 teaspoons of talent, mixed in with a splash of swag and three tea spoons of raw energy.

But just half a month later, he returns to outdue himself. How? With a message.

Performing isn’t really about music anymore for him, it’s about making a difference. And that’s why he takes on the controversial “Like a Prayer.” Not just because of the contagious beat, and catchy hook - though let’s be honest, I’m sure that didn’t hurt, ya know - but it’s about the messsage. Which is about religion, or oral sex, or statues coming to life. So that’s a lesson to all you religious fanatics, hookers, or gargoyle’s watching this video: IT GET’S BETTER.

Here’s my yelp review for this resteraunt:

Sometimes finding yourself in new areas can be fun!

I recently moved to Colorado after graduating from NYU high honors. After a long discussion with my girlfriend, we both decided that based off of our career deams - I an aspiring jouranlist, she a nurse - that Denver would be the best fit for us because of the job availabilities and relatively cheap price of living (for a metropolitan area).

Now moving from Rochester, New York to Denver was no synch: Your packing your entire life, and somebody elses into one 2001 Toyota Corolla. It was tough to leave behind or sell some things that really meant a lot to me. Have you ever seen ‘Toy Story 3’? It sounds silly, but I felt a lot of that kind of emotions parting ways w/ “non-essentials” (and I’m getting choked up using that term) .

With the car packed, we headed off four our new life. 5 days later, and only one trip to the mechanic (God bless that Corolla) we arrived to Denver at about 3 a.m in the morning. Rather than go to bed, we decided to walk around our new habitat for a little.

We walked around for what felt like forever without find anything until we found this resteraunt which was kind of hidden away.

The food was great and everything was pretty reasonably priced.

Oh ya, the waiter is a monkey wearing a human mask.

I’d give it 4 stars, 5 if they had more seating.

(No, there’s not a real significance to this picture. I google image searched Curtis Mayfield and that came up and I was like “Oh, that looks niiiiice.”)

A few vacations back I invented the idea of the ‘Cool People’s Lounge,’ essentially, it was a way for me to isolate myself and read in peace. But throughout the years I’ve adapted it to an imaginary place that I’m like 1% cool enough to attend.

And here’s how I know: When I’m listening to this play list every time I hear the Eric Hutchinson song I have a vivid image of people being very skeptical of his him based on his appearance, then he starts to sing and like a black church people start yelling things like “Boy can sing!”

So ya, these are the things I think about when I’m lying on my sixty dollar Futon from Target.

This is the trailer for the Second Season of an “Idiot Abroad,” and you should be super excited about it because it’s a very funny show. If you haven’t seen it before here’s a compilation from an episode to prove it.

The show idea is pretty simple - Karl Pilkington is an idiot, and they make him go throughout the planet to exotic places to show how painfully ignorant he is. Hilarity ensues. And again, it really does. Here’s another quick compilation to prove it.

But here’s my one problem with the show: I can kinda relate to Karl.

None of this looks fun to me. Literally, nothing. Put anything up in this clip against drinking a Magic Hat while sitting on a lawn chair and the latter wins literally everytime. And I wouldn’t have to put really any thought to it, you could probably give me a lesser beer and one of those awkward beach chairs that are kinda pointless and hard to get in and out of.

Am I on my own though? You can even take travel out of the equation. I just don’t see the appeal.

GOOD GOD! I’ve watched this thing like 400 times now, and I still dont’ get it. How are they this fluent this quickly? I wouldn’t be able to decide if I wanted to get a Red Baron or Frashcetta 3 cheese in the time it takes them to do this.
